DOUBLE CLEANSE: OIL CLEANSER (part 1)

Let's get into this new, but not really new concept of oil cleansing. It had a lovely wave here in the states due in part to the K-Beauty wave that was going on for the last few years. In Asia, it was something that was already happening. 

Basically, you apply either an oil-based balm or liquid oil on your face to help with getting rid of oil, dirt, pollution and sunscreen. Your hands and face should be dry when initially applying the oil cleanser. After working the oil into the skin and breaking up the makeup and dirty, you apply water to turn the oil into a milky emulsion that is then worked in a little more and rinsed off. 

The next step in the double cleanse process is to use a water-based cleanser. Stay tuned
