CANDLE CARE MADE SIMPLE
One would think handling fire would be common sense, but if you look all over the internet, you will see people burning candles with soot all over the rim and all other fire hazards. Today, we are going to go over some rules and tips to burn your candles safely.
PRO-TIP: Get a candle care kit (a wick trimmer, wick dipper and wick snuffer)
PLEASE READ INSTRUCTIONS/WARNINGS
Clip wicks before lighting the candle.
Light the candle, but keep it away from kids, pets and windy areas.
Place candle on a candle coaster.
Allow wax to pool, or liquify fully, when lighting candle.
Do not keep candle lit for more than 3 hours
When putting out the flame, use a cover, wick snuffer or wick dipper.
Clip/remove burned or used wick before re-lighting the candle.
Place a cloche (glass dome cover) over the candle or put candle back in its box. Don’t allow dust to get on the wax
