Hello!

Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in beauty. Hope you have a beautiful day!

More Money, Better Results?

More Money, Better Results?

Have you ever seen a cream with the price tag over $100, $300 or even $400?

It seems crazy, but yes, high priced beauty is out there. When I was younger and didn't know any better, I always thought that those products produced the best results. I also felt as if those products were not made for the normal consumer.

Fast forward to today and it's fair to say that my mind has changed. Not all high priced beauty is equal. Sometimes, the reason certain brands have higher priced beauty products is truly justified. They may use a tremendous amount of actual science behind the products offered. Using innovative methods to help cure some issues people have can be costly.

Other brands may simply be trying to place themselves in the "luxury" market just for the hell of it. Their product may not be any better than a drug store brand, but because of the price, it gives the illusion of being better.

The best way to avoid buying something that may not be the best is with independent research and just simple reading. The research can be done by reading other people's reviews and results of the pricey item. Also, try reading the ingredients! Today, there are even certain communities and site simply dedicated to breaking down the list of ingredients and the amount in the pricey product in question.

Ultimately, the choice is yours to make. If you want to spend $300 on a face cream, and you have the money to do it, why not? But if you are looking to see and feel actual results, pay attention. Sometimes buying luxury just means you have the luxury of paying more for something, which essential is just smoke and mirrors.
