PMD

I remember scrolling through many YouTube videos and coming across a video of someone talking about using a device called PMD. I became intrigued. I sat there and watched. It became something that I wanted to try, but was scared because it seemed like a medical device or something used at a spa. Surprisingly, they even have a medical grade/professional grade PMD, but it is a little bit more.   

The need to purchase it was put out of my mind. Eventually, I decided to go ahead and take my microdermabrasion to the next level. I had the device by Neutrogena. Consider it training wheels. The feeling of something more than a scrub on my face was something that needed to be conquered.  

One day while out and about participating in some good retail therapy, the PMD was spotted and purchased. I was happy to have it and also very nervous to use it.  

The box was so glossy and new and that made me very happy. I reviewed the instructions that came in the box. There was even a DVD too. Naturally, it was put in the DVD player. After watching, I felt ready to try.  

Before the PMD can be used, you have to wash your face. I made sure to get my face extra clean. Due to the fact that I was going to be using the PMD, I had to pause the normal steps that would follow. Once my face was completely dry, I put the device together and plugged it in.  

Just like the YouTube review, instructions and DVD, I held my skin taught and started to move the PMD in once direction. In all honesty, the sensation is strange. It's not bad, just different. I was able to get my whole face done in under 10 minutes. Once the microdermabrasion process was completed, I rinsed my face again. Now, the routine could be completed. Luckily, I had an alcohol free toner that was refreshing and non-irritating.  

Yes, you can truly feel the difference in your skin. I just marveled at how smooth and soft my face was. I made it a point to try using all the discs that came with the PMD. Every Sunday around 9pm, using my PMD was my ritual. There were discs for the hands and feet too, but I haven't used those.   

I would truly recommend this device for the skincare lover in your life. Money well spent!
